Turn around

9 Jun

During my morning ritual, I noticed that there were a at least a half a dozen bumblebees hanging out on the climbing rose and clematis behind the hive. They were pollinating away, hardly noticing a hive of 10,000+ bees living a mere foot away.

Bumble Pollenating

The clematis must attract the bees because of its purple color. It’s a shame that the flight pattern of our bees is straight out and up out of the hive. Our girls will most likely never find the lovely plants that are right behind them. Maybe I should have started singing turn around, bright eyes to them Old School style.

Looks like they have a nice setup there, and i’m sure they will have a look and find what is directly behind their hive 🙂
